EXP/CTL Preferences

The EXP/CTL Preferences tab allows you to match the pedal configuration of your FC300 as set in UTILITY mode, and as described on Page 50 of the FC300 Manual.

If you set these settings to match your FC300 EXP/CTL pedal configuration, then the EXP/CTL data will appear under the appropriate collection with a Patch; either the Expression Pedal Collection or the Control Pedal Collection.

The EXP/CTL Preferences tab is shown below:

This tab has the following options:

SYS:E3/C3 Type Allows you to set whether or not the pedal mode is either Expression Pedal 3 or Control Pedal (CTL) 3.
SYS:E4/C5 Type Allows you to set whether or not the pedal mode is either Expression Pedal 4 or Control Pedal (CTL) 5.
SYS:E5/C7 Type Allows you to set whether or not the pedal mode is either Expression Pedal 5 or Control Pedal (CTL) 7.
Fetch Settings from the FC300 Allows you to automatically get these settings from the FC300 if it is connected.

Note: you can only adjust these settings if no files are open within fc.factory. This is to ensure that there is no possibility of corrupting data if you were to change the settings, because these settings determine whether or not MIDI data is interpreted as either Expression Pedal data or Control Pedal data when data is loaded or saved.

If one or more files are open in fc.factory, the following message is displayed instead of the tab controls being shown.
