OK, I'm a little biased as a Firefox browser user, which I moved to because of my continual frustration that Internet Explorer could not print web pages without clipping the right margin!

Whilst this web site works perfectly on Mozilla and Firefox browsers, I have had a lot of problems getting it to display correctly in Internet Explorer 6. After a lot of experimentation, and after implementing a "kludge fix", this site now displays OK in Internet Explorer 6, although I cannot yet get the background image to fully fit the page (hence the black stripe on the right hand side)

Now I've built this web site, and spent many wasted hours trying to get what I wanted to look right on Internet Explorer 6, I've come to realise how non-compliant Internet Explorer 6 and earlier versions are with the standards for web pages developed by the W3C Consortium.

Of course the problem is that because of the prevalence of Windows most people are using Internet Explorer as their browser, I needed to find a compromise that worked across all browsers, which I think I've done.

I have also tried this web site with the latest beta version of Internet Explorer 7, and this site displays much better with this latest version.

I thought I'd mention this as I think there are much better browsers out there than Internet Explorer 6, and I think that anybody out there still using it ought to think about trying something like Firefox, or if you prefer to stick with Microsoft products to consider trying Internet Explorer 7.
